CAPYLANI
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Capylani is a focus and garden app for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains how information is handled in the app and on capylani.app. For privacy questions, contact support@capylani.app.
Your garden stays on your device
No Capylani account is required. Garden progress, the name you give your companion, focus history, preferences and rewards are stored locally on your device. These are not sent to a Capylani account server. Exported backups are files you control; their privacy also depends on where you choose to save or share them. Deleting the app may remove local progress, so keep a backup when needed.
Purchases and Capylani Pro
Apple processes payments. Capylani does not receive your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore access and determine your Pro entitlement. RevenueCat processes purchase history, transaction and subscription information, and a persistent anonymous app user identifier. This supports app functionality, fraud prevention and purchase analytics.
The app does not ask you to link that identifier to a name or email address. We do not use purchase history for cross-app advertising tracking. Read RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy for their practices.
Screen Time and notifications
App blocking is optional and uses Apple’s Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity frameworks. App selections use Apple-provided opaque tokens stored on the device and shared with the app’s blocking extension. Capylani does not send those selections to an advertising or analytics server. You can manage Screen Time authorisation in your device settings.
With permission, the app schedules local notifications for focus sessions and reminders. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings. Live Activities display session information on supported devices and can be controlled through iOS settings.
Website and support
This website has no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, contact form or account system. It loads its fonts and artwork locally. When you visit, our hosting provider and Cloudflare may process technical connection information such as your IP address, browser, requested URL and request time to deliver and protect the site. Our web server does not keep access logs, but infrastructure providers may keep their own security or operational logs. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
If you email support, we receive your address and the information you include, and use them to respond. Avoid sending passwords or payment details. Support messages are kept as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can control app permissions in iOS, manage purchases through Apple, and remove locally stored information by deleting the app and any backups you keep. Purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat are separate from local garden data and may be retained for service, legal or fraud-prevention needs. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict processing or complain to a data protection authority. Email us to make a request; we may need information to identify the relevant records.
Children and international processing
Capylani does not ask for age, contact details or a public profile in the app. If a child has sent personal information through support, a parent or guardian can contact us for assistance. Apple, RevenueCat and infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than your own under their respective privacy safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its date if our practices change. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
